Woohoo! The fiscal year is over and I have the next 4 days off for vacation with the family! I will be back on Wed with plenty of updates!

That is right...1 day until I leave for DC. Now, the original plan was to meet my family at my grandparents house. However, on my way to get my eyebrows down tonite...my father called to inform me that we are meeting at the Fish Market for dinner! Woohoo! Now all I have to do is figure out how to find a parking spot at...oh....4pm on a Saturday in Old Town. Oy Vey!

As I am updating this website....John is watching Martha's new show. It is horrible. Do not even try to watch it.

Well, other than that...not much is going on. It is 58 degrees down here and I am freezing. The fiscal year ends at work tomorrow...so once I make it through the day.....it is off to the Atomic Cafe for some dinner and drinks....then off to pack....which everyone who knows me knows that will be something to see.

So I am working out last night at the ol LAC around 8 and I see someone I had graduated college with. Very excited, I jumped onto the eliptical machine right next to her and began catching up. Well half way through the workout she started out on how she can't get over this ex of hers...blah...blah...blah.... Now, being on the drugs I was on for my tooth work (yes, went to the dentist and got it fixed) I really was not paying much attention. But on the drive home I started thinking about it and it kinda ticked me off. With that....here are my guidelines on dealing with ex's:

1. If you have an ex who has come back into your life.....and you are still interested in having a little fun...by all means do so (unless he is crazy and would chop you up into little peices...then refrain)

Yup, that is it. My guidelines are 1. Now, I might be so willing to give this peice of advice because all my ex's are either geeks, scary or too chicken to try anything like that...so I am safe :) But this girl's ex was a little hottie....so it is ok. And I am sure she is reading this....so go for it girl! But do not get attached!

In other news, I leave for DC on Sat morning....very excited. I also have the theme song from Vegas stuck in my head. I would so love to have their jobs...that would be awesome. Until then, I must go deal with my Mint.

Isn't having the weekend off one of the perks of a college education? Yes, I have been sitting at my desk in my office since 9 am. I really don't know what else I can do....I have already cleaned....finished up some spread sheets, moved pictures around, and sorted through paperwork. I am really beginging to feel like that poor monkey. We are scheduled to work until 4...but I am really hoping that we get out early. I should not be complaining, after this I do not have to work anymore off days/hours until this time next year.

Well.....we went to the game today.....and left after the 3rd quarter. I cannot believe how BAD we are. I do not know how long CBS was showing the game....but after the 1st quarter it was a waste of time. The only thing my section was cheering for was "Silverman" who had way to much to drink and was falling over everyone. At UK games it is never a nasty guy that is drunk...it is always the pretty frat boy in his Ralph Lauren button down...with the sleeves rolled....untucked with khaki shorts and boat shoes.Oh how I miss my UK days :) Watching him reminded me of many of my friends during that time. While he was entertaining, he left at halftime....

On another note, the birthday cake was a huge success! If I could afford to quit my job and open a bakery tomorrow...I would. Everyone loved it. I am quite proud. Now I am home.....and everyone is NOT going out tonight...and Clint went back to Louisville after being so angry about the game....so this weekend has not been a fun SOCIAL one. I am not happy about that! (hint hint people) Even the redneck that lives in the apartment below mine is quiet. Of course it is only 9:21...so who knows that the evening holds.......

This time next week I will be in DC. Weiss.....we might have to hit a bar or something!

OH YEAH....Jake was quite upset that there has not been any mentioning of the Yankees on my site...so....here we go....they are so going to kick Baltimore's a$$ tomorrow! Everyone needs to go to www.yankees.com and sign up (vote) for tickets for game 4 of the 2005 World Series...because we all know the Yanks will be there! Woohoo!

Yes...it is 1:32 AM and I am so ready to do anything! I am bored out of my mind....my sudo-gay boyfriend does not get into town until tomorrow...my real boyfriend has company and all my other people are too LAME to do anything this late...that is right...I am talking to ALL OF YOU! I am here.....text or call or something if anyone wants to go out......

OK, I look at this picture and think to myself "if you people are doing this....I do not know how I could help you." And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why I am not the Director of Fema. Now, granted I did not grow up down there...but if water was surrounding me like that...I would not be on my bike.

In other news...so I had to work late tonite...and I am sitting there with my bud Dave. Now, anyone who has been around me knows that when I chew gum...I look more like a cow than a person. Well, there I was chewing...and all of the sudden *bam* it was like a small rock in my mouth. Just my luck, a filling fell out. This is not your run of the mill filling..this was one that was over like 2-3 teeth. Ofcourse, this happened AFTER my dentist closed...so I am forced to suck it up and deal. Not a happy camper. Add that to my allergies....and you get one big oy vey!

from Goshen who checks the Obits everyday? Don't ask me why I do it...probably dates back to last year when Brooke was killed.....but I feel the need to keep up with everyone's lifespan......anyone else?

Also, last night John and I went to visit our friend Teresa that had her baby 3 months early. She (Teresa) was doing great....but the baby was at another hospital so that was a no go.

OK, only 7 days until I leave for DC....so excited....Weiss...that would be fun....Matt...that would be amazing...but knowing you...I do not doubt your "road-trip" abilities.

Well, I am working an odd shift at work. I am a 8-5'er everyday except for 2 days in Sept. I work 11-8....then after that I get to flex my bakery muscles and make a birthday cake. If you do not hear from me soon...you know that something horrible happened in the kitchen :)

Also, tomorrow is the UK-Florida football game...please...pray for us....

Until I am in DC for a mini family reunion.....I am so excited.

Speaking of my family...I sooooo want to be like my mom when I grow up! I had some free time from work yesterday....so I gave the old house a ring.....well....since Beauach cannot answer the phone yet..(he is a dog people..not a sibling) I decided to call the parental units on the cell phones. So..I get my mom...and I can tell something is going on where she is...but cannot figure out what. As our conversation progresses (and here is where I decided I wanted to be like her) I mention that I have Pilates tonite...and she goes "you have it on a wednesday?" Well, turns out they are in Cape Cod with some family friends on a "mini-vacation".....must be nice....you know life is RUFF when you don't even have to remember what day of the week it is!

Not only is this weekend the UK/Florida game...it is also Ryan's birthday...and I have been asked to bake a cake! I actually work late on Friday (Federal Govt budget year ending) so that should be something. On the Darin front....Teresa is still in labor (day 2) and is 26 weeks along...which is better than we thought. So...they are trying to delay the labor for another 2 weeks.....in the hospital....not fun...poor thing.

On a personal note...and this is probably the first time I have every said this.....I look damn good today....I have on a cute outfit..which my Kate Spade perfectly matches...my hair is awesome...and I am sporting my new Escada Rockin' Rio. I could so walk into any sorority house on UK's campus today and be accepted as one of their own..no questions asked...lol! No complaints today.

I love riding in that thing!

Today during lunch John and I went and purcahsed tickets to the UK vs Florida game for this Sat. I do not know why we like to go...but there is just something about the games.....it will be on TV...CBS I believe...so watch...laugh...and pray that basketball season is better!

On a more serious note.....co-worker Darin's wife went into labor this morning at 6 months....everyone's prayers at work are with you 2. Keep up updated! We are hoping for the best for that little guy! Well, I am updating from work...which is most likely a no-no....so TTFN!

How embarassing was last nights game? My team might be off to a ruff start...but that did not stop me and about 200 people at the Christ the King's Oktoberfest from watching it on the 50" they had sitting next to a beer tent. I had never seen anything like it.....wait.....I'm wrong...I have...all last year. When it comes to football...I think I might adopt another school.

In other news, the weekend was offically a success.....and I am ready to head back into the work week. Oktober fest was actually a really good time....except for that one part where the drunk priest began signing nursey rhymes....but it made for a good laugh. We ended up meeting some buddies and had a blast playing Bingo of all things...for those who are wondering...I did not win. Afterwards I successfully convinced the whole group to meet at our company's local watering hole...Marikkas on Southland. Good time had by all.....too bad we got there too late and there was no volleyball going on....but there is always next time.

In health news...I am feeling better....need to get apartment warmer.

So last night John and I went to a little company get together at a friends house. First off....I have come to the realization that if you move in with your boyfriend....you can get a really nice house.....even if you both work at the same place for the same amount of money. However, I just can't bring myself to do it. My little apartment here is my sanctuary. Secondly, if you really want to impress the ladies.....participate in a slam dunk contest in a driveway while drinking. I swear.....I am thinking some of those guys MUST be hurting today....because I was hurting watching them last night. Oh, and if you are wearing flip flops....you will be even better.

Oh...and listen to this OUTRAGE....so last week I went to the doctor with this sinus infection/bug that is going around work. Now, it is not bad enough to make you take a sick day...but it is annoying none the less. So....she gives me 2 perscriptions.....one for Allegra and one for some antibotic. Things have not been getting worse, but I did decide to fill the Allegra to the TUNE OF $40.00 after insurance!!!! Can you believe that! I literally looked at the poor pharmacy student in Kroger and said "are you shitting me?". I am still in shock......as I sit in my apartment which I keep at 50 degrees (and I wonder why I am sick....)

Anyway...no rest for Andi....the weekend continues tonite with some Catholic fair down town or something. October Fest of somesort.....so off to Target to go to get a tank top!

OR should I say "yourself." Wow...so I go to the ol doctor yesterday since I feel like my head is literally going to explode...and she gave me a "Z Pack" of Ketek. I then went back to work...had dinner....went to Pilates...hung around and ended up taking it around 9pm. At 9:15 I was offically worthless and had to take a shower and go to bed. Apparently one of the side effects is "anxiety". Well, with work being as busy as it is today...that is not the side effect I was hoping for. Right about now, I am thinking I would be feeling the same way if I was on CRACK. However, my face feels better :) I was hoping to get some rest this weekend...but I was informed this morning that my Friday and Saturday are offically booked...so I will have to hold of dying until Sunday! Well...gotta head back to the office....later!

Ahhh.....what I am missing at home in NY.....I could be crusing around in that....hair blowing in the wind....music blaring....but no...I am still down here in KY. What is wrong with me you might ask?

Not much....but I have started taking Pilates class....which feels great at the time....but makes you feel like you were hit by a truck the next day.

Things have been going pretty well down here in the Ol KY since my last website (before it was taken away due to inactivity....hehehe.) Work is super busy...because as it turns out...I manage FEMA, the Marshals, VA and a bunch of other organizations that are responding to the hurricane....so while it is not a happy way to make money...atleast I am helping them help people...if that makes any sense.

I have also finished the Red to Blond transformation. I would have to say that 99.9% of those who see me on a daily basis approve of my decision....so that was something. Nothing like realizing you DID NOT look good before and having NO ONE say anything. But what can I say.....

On a sad note, Clint (my Will from Will and Grace....where I was the Grace) is moving from Lexington to Louisville tomorrow. I know I will be making a many trips to go out with him...and he had better come back here. I don't know what I will do without you Clint...if you do not come back I will soo have to beat you with that traffic cone you drug down Vine Street! You are so my boyfriend when my real boyfriend is busy everyother weekend!

Speaking of which, my boy John and I will offically be dating 2 years next month. Quite exciting!
